Russ and Elaine Wright are your hosts.  In 1999 Russ and Elaine left their high-stress lives in the city for the beautiful Sacramento Mountains in New Mexico where they began the process of developing the RavenWind property.The B&B was opened in 2001, and was immediately successful. By 2005 they felt the need to offer their guests a deeper physical, emotional and spiritual experience. Since then the Retreats have been transformed from a dream to a reality.

Russ began his healing journey in 1996. First with horses and then, when it became apparent that riders were passing on their imbalances to the horses, with riders and horses. After a year of schooling and a year of apprenticeship, Russ and Elaine moved to New Mexico. Russ is nationally certified and licensed in New Mexico. He has broad experience and training in a variety of bodywork and energetic techniques including Integrated Manual Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and other detox treatmnts, Craniosacral Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Applied Psychosynthesis, Body Energy Fields, Chakra Therapy and Shiatsu.  He is a Reiki Master. Russ has a unique way of combining deep energy penetration with non-invasive, but deep, bodywork to facilitate deep physical and emotional relief. Elaine has both a PhD and a degree in law. Elaine’s personal health challenges have taken her on a therapeutic and nutritional journey that has brought her health without pharmaceutical intervention.   She uses her scientific expertise in her continuing study of nutrition and nutritional healing for the benefit of her guests and her community.
